Welcome
Thank you for visiting In Harmony Counselling. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor in private practice in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. My office is located in the heart of Steveston Village, at #200-3651 Moncton Street. I offer in-person and online counselling services to residents of British Columbia.
I offer counselling and psychotherapy services for people who are feeling frustrated in their relationships with others, or who are unhappy with themselves. When we are out of tune with ourselves or with others, there is often a significant impact on our emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical well-being. Disharmony may be manifested emotionally as anxiety or worry, depression, feelings of helplessness and loneliness, loss of confidence, or feeling overwhelmed by strong emotions such as anger, fear, or sadness. We may experience cognitive difficulties including confusion, inability to concentrate, and indecision. Physical symptoms often include sleep problems, changes in eating habits, lack of energy, chronic pain, and illness. We may suffer spiritually through a lack of motivation or hope, an inability to find meaning in life, or through burn-out and creative blocks. In our couple or family relationships we may notice non-productive patterns of relating to each other, marked by conflict, poor communication, blaming, abuse, or emotional distance.

How I Can Help
You do not have to walk through these challenges alone. Within the context of a safe, supportive, and confidential counselling environment, our sessions together can be a unique opportunity for you to gain insight into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and to learn how to bring harmony into your relationships. Counselling can be a rewarding experience for you as we focus on how you can move closer to inner contentment and clarity of thought, gain a greater sense of self-awareness, manage challenging emotions, find solutions to some problems and acceptance of circumstances that cannot be changed, develop more satisfying relationships, and build hope for the future.
My counselling focus is on working with couples at all stages of their relationship, and with parents and families facing difficulties, particularly in times of transition. I also welcome individuals who are seeking therapy for a broad range of issues, including anxiety, trauma, depression, self-esteem, and grief or loss.
I would consider it a privilege to accompany you on your quest for greater harmony in your life. Please contact me today to schedule an appointment.
