Counselling Fees and Schedule

Session fees are $185 per standard 50-minute session and $277.50 per extended 75-minute session. Fees are commensurate with BCACC guidelines and are the same regardless of the number of clients attending (individuals, couples, or families).  Many extended health plans reimburse all or a portion of fees for counselling services provided by Registered Clinical Counsellors.  Please check with your benefits plan to confirm whether counselling services are covered. 

I offer short- and long-term online or in-person counselling services on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and alternate Saturday mornings.  Evening sessions are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until 9 pm.

Payments are made by e-transfer before or at the beginning of online or in-person sessions; cash or cheques are also accepted for in-person sessions (I do not accept credit or debit cards).  Please note that a 24-hour cancellation policy applies.  Counselling services are available only to residents of British Columbia.

I do not do third party billing.  Official receipts will be provided to the client upon payment, which can be submitted to the insurance provider for reimbursement.  Counselling fees may be considered a tax-deductible medical expense; please consult with your accountant.

Office Location

I offer in-person services in the heart of beautiful Steveston village, at #200-3651 Moncton Street, Richmond, BC.  Access to the office is on Moncton St., via the door to the left of Ora Sushi: go down the hall and upstairs to the Second Floor.  A stairlift is available for those who have difficulty managing stairs.  Free 3-hour parking is available on streets and in parking lots throughout Steveston.  Online services are also available.
